#362 A (late) Christmas cracker of a meal!

I felt a bit ‘off’ this morning.  Possibly the onset of a cold, or maybe just due to the change in routine – I just felt a bit ‘off’. That’s about the only way to describe it.  Not much to go on I know, but it’s the best I can do.

No matter really – as an afternoon with the family seems to have pretty much done the trick!  We all met up at the Blackbrook tavern on the outskirts of Taunton, for a meal, laughs and chat. I think it’s fair to say we all a had a great time!

All ready to tuck into their meals, but not before I got my snap of them all..

There was only the one rule to observe. All phones were stacked on the table so we could all enjoy talking to each other.  Some (Hannah, Josh) found it quite a strain to be away from their phones for so long!

Anyone wanna buy a phone? I've got loads of 'em!

To prove that I was indeed present, Carole managed to get a shot of me with the rest of the gang.

The end of the meal. Stuffed!

We also opened presents, and both Carole and I were really grateful for the generous gifts from everyone.  One gift in particular was going to be my image for the day, but I really also wanted to include everyone in this post – so it will be combined into this instead.

An ‘image of the day 2014’ scrapbook!  Created by Sam and Beth ( Beth bought the fixing tape!) it has selected pages from the year of my blog, printed out in A4 and bound in a massive folder. I had a quick flick through some of the pages and all the memories of the year started flooding back. I’ll have a great time looking through it all later tonight.

Awesome!

Awesome!

We are back home now, and I have to say, I’m feeling so much better. I’m sure it’s down to the great company today. Thanks all, it was a fab time!
