#353 Old mans beard, or Travellers joy?

I’m sure you will have noticed the White, wispy heads of wild clematis in the hedgerows. It’s also known as Travellers joy, and the highly descriptive ‘Old mans Bears’ – which is the one I prefer.

It’s a fantastic addition to any hedgerow scene, and this patch caught my eye as it was backlit by a bright sun as I wandered up the path. A lovely sight indeed!
