#335 It’s here! I’m now an HR professional..

It might be just a piece of card, but this one means a lot to me.  Back in September of 2013 I joined a great bunch of fellow HR types as we embarked on our CIPD Level 5 Diploma in HR Management.   About a million hours of hard work, sense of humour fails, late nights, unending research and working out the intricacies of Harvard referencing later – we completed the course at the end of July.

In black and white. HR sorted!

In black and white. HR sorted!

It’s taken until now to get everything verified and confirmed, but now the proof is finally here.  I, along with the fantastic bunch of Bristol Level 5 HRM 1, am now qualified as a pukka HR Manager.  We are aiming to find a date when we can gather again to celebrate, but being HR managers finding that date is going to be mighty tough as we are all as busy as each other.  Ah well, no hurry just yet, we’ll find time I’m sure.  For now, I’m going to have a cold Cider to celebrate anyway!

Thanks to our Tutor, Debbie, and all the team at DPG for getting us through it. I’d have been struggling without the online community, and the support of the A Team!

  1. Steve – a heart felt congratulations and well done. You have been such a great role model and advocate for your own learning but for other people as well. A true champion in many ways as you have contributed so much to our Community and your group. I hope you continue to use the Community as a valuable resource and thanks again for mentoring a new student going through the same journey as yourself. It’s wonderful to see this growth and confidence and I wish you every success now and in the future. Well done from all the team at DPG 🙂

Thanks Mike. I am deeply indebted to you in enabling me to get to this point. The community is your success, and is the prime reason by far, that people are able to succeed on their courses.

Your enthusiasm and encouragement is hugely inspirational!

Thanks for considering me as a mentor, I’m enjoying being able to support Grace as she progresses in the HRM course.

Hope to catch up again soon mate. All the very best. Steve
