The Skills trainees were treated to a bit of a masterclass today. A session on CV writing and interview skills isn’t perhaps what many people would expect to see at their bank, but the team certainly delivered an excellent insight into how to get it right. These are essential skills in today’s world of employment as each of them will be competing against plenty of other candidates for every job they apply for in the near future.
Barclays Bank has always been a big part of the community in Poole, and the opportunity for our Dorset Wildlife Trust trainees to spend some time there, honing their interview skills and gathering top tips from the professionals was not one to miss.

A quick break for coffee enabled us all to get a remarkable view from the top floor of Barclays House:
So, huge thanks to Steve, Paul, Gary and Ben for sharing their expertise today. It’s really good to see a bank being such a supporter of the community, and I for one, am rather proud to be a Barclays customer.
