#322 I should be on MasterChef!

I was cooking for one tonight, as Carole was out with friends. I took the opportunity to have a bit of an invention test – MasterChef style.

Into the pan went onions, garlic, gravy, lamb hearts (yes!) and black pudding. All left to simmer away nicely, filling the house with a heady aroma. At least, that’s what I thought anyway..

To finish it off, in went some cous cous.

The result? In true MasterChef style, it had bags of flavour, yet perhaps lacked a little in presentation.. The best evening meal I’ve had all day. That about sums it up.
