#249 A late lunch

Beth and her friend came to Bournemouth today, so Carole and I arranged to meet up with them plus Sam for lunch. Fortunately we opted for a late booking, as the traffic in Dorchester delayed them somewhat.

Our meal, at The Edge, overlooking Bournemouth Bay at Alum Chine was pretty darned good and well worthy of a birthday celebration for Beth’s 21st. The view from the balcony is pretty good as well.

The food was of a standard that warranted a picture.. My tuna was very tasty!

We didn’t leave the restaurant until almost 4pm, and we left the trio of youngsters to head off for the rest of their day – in search of a ukulele and some scones. Yes, really!
