#231 A blue morning in the garden

Two images today, both taken in the garden and both come to you today courtesy of the colour….Blue.

Firstly, a Holly Blue butterfly spent a bit of time basking on a raspberry leaf. Probably a bit put out by the drop in temperature overnight, so it took a while to warm up enough to fly off.

Holly Blue - look out for a blue butterfly whizzing along at 6-20 feet up. That'll be a Holly blue.

Secondly, a blue flower. Most fuschia flowers I’ve seen are purple, or pink or sometimes white. Not so sure that I have ever seen a blue one though. It looks pretty good though:

Not a bad looking fuschia.

I take no credit for this at all.  Carole is the gardener of the house and has a superb collection of all sorts of flowers.  I just look after the pond, the meadowsweet and the buddleia. 🙂
