#191 A day of memories

Today was a sad day, when we had to say farewell to my cousin Angie, who recently lost her battle with Cancer. She fought it bravely for several years, but it was still a bit of a shock when I got the news that she had gone.  The service at Taunton Crematorium today was one of many memories, triggered by the slideshow of photos on the screen – and I recalled those happy childhood days when we all used to go on family holidays together, or go out playing until it was way too dark!

The most moving part of the ceremony for me though was seeing that Angie’s much loved Westie, Jessica, was allowed to be there with us all, at the service.  Angie would have been so chuffed with that!
