There were several candidates for image of the day today. It’s always the case on an Island like Brownsea – there are photo opportunities everywhere. Fortunately I’ve made it my golden rule to not go anywhere on the Island without a camera.
One of the great opportunities was when a several of these little ‘uns wandered over to have a scratch around in the dirt nearby at lunchtime..
Sort of cute to look at. Anyone hazard a guess as to how he/she might look when fully grown? Well, here’s a pic of Mum and Dad:
I did of course, have a look around for some red squirrels – and they didn’t disappoint. At one stage this morning I watched 7 of them chasing each other at high speed at the top of a pine. Not the greatest light at 7am so my pic isn’t particularly great – but it is a red squirrel!
It’s back to the Head Office tomorrow. Meetings and cake beckon!
