I’m running the Bournemouth marathon, so my Sundays from now on will mainly focus on being the day for the weekly long, slow distance run. Today was a good start to the programme as I managed a rather epic (for me!) 14 miles along the Castleman trail.
It’s a cracking route, and includes the banks of the river Stour – so there is plenty to stop me getting bored. One of the highlights is the bridge. None of this bricks and tarmac stuff here though – it’s a steel wires and wood bridge that swings as you run over it. Fantastic!!
