We headed down to Poole park this morning as Carole was running in the Cancer Research UK Race for Life. Every year, I never fail to be struck by some of the messages on the backs of the runners, the words of those that have battled through and of the sheer number of ladies all ready to tackle the 5 km course with the sole aim of raising funds to help us beat cancer. I’d guess that 95% of them wear pink – so it’s a striking image to see.
It was a really hot day, so must have been very hard work for them all. Well done one and all, and of course, I’m particularly proud of Carole!
