My image of the day is of a Staff Meeting. Not the inviting of subjects for a suitable image you might think. Well, one of the (many) perks of working for a Wildlife Trust is that the workplace is not just a selection of offices.
Today, the workplace was Fontmell Down in North Dorset. We spent our morning meandering through the Reserve, catching up with other staff that we hadn’t spoken to for ages, and seeing what a Jewel in the Crown the site is.
The site is famous for its orchids and its butterflies. Neither disappointed with plenty of species of both found across the slopes. Lovely to see the stunningly coloured Adonis Blues, taking in the suns rays. It’s a site that is well worth a visit, but be prepared for climbing some steep slopes!
