#146 In praise of the humble Digitalis

You might also know it as a foxglove, but the amazing drooping bell flowers of Digitalis are such a great addition to any garden. We don’t plant ever them in our garden, they just turn up in random places – and we just let them grow..

The bees love them, crawling right up inside each flower – and taking an age to come back down again.  They are in flower now, and the good news is that they’ll keep flowering for ages of course.  A deserving image of any day I’d say.IMG_0001_1
