#100 What a view from my ‘office’ today!

Today I was able to call the Purbeck coastpath my office, as I was out there with the Skills for the Future trainees as we set up the 7 mile route for this Sundays Walk for Wildlife (All welcome!).

The weather was perfect, the sea looked simply amazing and we all felt satisfyingly tired when we reached Leeson House ( Start/Finish point) and were able to relax, after a job well done.

There were a number of wildlife highlights – including several Roe deer, stonechats, whinchat x 2, gannet, peregrine falcon, swallow x several.  No puffins this time, though we did find plenty of Early Spider Orchids in flower – the logo of Dorset Wildlife Trust of course..

I’m off  out again tomorrow to mark the 13 mile route. No trainees this time as they are busy on other things. Will they believe me if I see a Puffin?!!
