#87 On the straight and narrow..

It’s the same image every day of the working week, but somehow I never fail to be struck by the view as I crest the hill at either end of this stretch of road on my journey to/from work.

It’s a cracking site for wildlife as well. I’ve seen hares, little owls and even hen harrier whilst driving here. This morning, it was a brightly marked male yellowhammer that got my attention.

Now – who knows where this bit of road is?  😉

    Is it the road between Charlton Down & Piddlehinton? I usually (used to) see corn buntings on the wires.
