#72 natural resources at work

I managed to pop over to West Dorset today, for an afternoon meeting at the Kingcombe Centre – which was alive with the sounds and feel of Spring all around it.

Whilst I was there I managed to catch up with Chloe, one of the trainees. She was busing building a walkway out of hazel and twine – for use in getting across a muddy patch at the Forest School site.  No need for nails and treated timber when you have people as resourceful as Chloe!  We gave it a test when completed by getting James to walk over it. It worked a treat. Great work!

That'll do the trick. One way of keeping out of the mud.
